In May, the Federal Government announced an investment of AUD $10 million to support rapid transformational research across Australia’s leading AHRTCs accredited by the NHMRC. As part of this formative investment Monash Partners will receive more than AUD $2 million to support translational research projects responsive to needs of communities, health providers and health services to deliver direct clinical benefit. These projects respond to MRFF priority areas including clinical pathways and care transition, clinical variation and improving the health of vulnerable groups and were the subject of a peer review process run earlier this year through themes and disciplines. Monash Partners will receive additional funding of AUD $225,000 for infrastructure which will include leading nationally in data driven healthcare improvement.
