Seven projects will benefit from the Victorian Government’s $5.5 million COVID-19 Research Fund, which will support the work of Victoria’s world-leading research institutes to better understand transmission, immunity and the long-term health impacts of coronavirus. One of these projects will see Alfred Health working with Monash Partners to examine the long-term physical and psychosocial impacts (including work-related fatigue, anxiety and stress) of COVID-19 on our frontline workers and workplaces with a focus on healthcare and aged care. This research will inform workplace practices and approaches to prevent transmission of COVID-19 and will also inform the best support for the workforce.
