“Partnering with Latrobe Regional Hospital provides us with an avenue to increase research engagement, clinical research, access and translation in a rural and regional area with a diverse and rich demographic population base. This will complement new and existing research and improve on rural health,” said Professor Teede.
“These are very significant times for Monash Partners Academic Health Science Centre, where the integration of research improving healthcare has arguably never been so vital,” Professor Teede said.

“Our vision is to drive research for real change in the health and wellbeing of our community. While there has been so much good work in the past, we really want to build our capacity in clinical research and trials which will greatly improve the quality of care for people in Gippsland.
