Monash Partners has long offered support to early and mid-career researchers (EMCRs) to build towards independent funding and leadership roles, and embed research and translation into healthcare.
EMCR support is to be a focus of our new strategic plan and, for the first time, in 2024 we are offering early and mid-career researcher (EMCR) awards.
The awards aim to recognise the contributions of EMCRs performing highly in research, in the Monash Partners’ organisations.
Awards are available in the following categories:
- EMCR consumer/community engagement award,
- EMCR award for excellence in an implementation science project,
- EMCR award for leadership in health services research, and
- EMCR excellence award for the novel use of data.
The Awards will be officially presented by Professor Steve Wesselingh, Chief Executive Officer NHMRC, as part of the Monash Partners CONNECT | SUPPORT | IMPACT 2030 event, to be held on Thursday 14 November at 553 St Kilda Road, Melbourne. This event will also unveil our strategic vision as we head toward 2030, highlighting our strategic priorities – connect, support and impact. More information on how to apply for the EMCR awards can be found here. More information on the event can be found here.
Monash Partners looks forward to continuing to provide recognition and opportunities for early and mid-career researchers to bolster careers and further advance research.
