Message from Executive Director: CONNECT | SUPPORT | IMPACT 2030

Recently, Monash Partners held its inaugural symposium where our five year strategic direction was unveiled to address the priorities of our partners, consumers and the community through health research and research translation.

As we head toward 2030, our strategic priorities of CONNECT, SUPPORT and IMPACT, will help to achieve improved population health outcomes, higher value care, improved health equity, and improved experiences for patients, families and members of the healthcare workforce.

To help support the launch, we heard from keynote speaker, Professor Euan Wallace, Secretary, Vic Department of Health who spoke on the challenges, insights and value of collaboration within the Victoria Healthcare System while keynote Professor Steve Wesselingh, Chief Executive Officer, NHMRC highlighted the same aspects in regard to Research Translation Centres. Thanks also to Associate Professor Kirsten Palmer, obstetrician and researcher who provided a glimpse into her Early and Mid-Career Research (EMCR) journey while Ainslie Cahill shared her experience as a consumer. The launch also recognised seven EMCRs for excellence in their field. Congratulations to the following awardees:
