Introduction to Good Clinical Practice (accredited ICH GCP training)

These GCP courses are only available to PAID EMPLOYEES of the Monash Partners organisations who have opted in.
This TransCelerate-accredited GCP short course will provide participants with an understanding of the requirements of ICH GCP and an awareness of how to conduct a study in accordance with ICH GCP. Suitable training in this area is expected by pharmaceutical companies that initiate commercially sponsored clinical trials, and this course is recognised as acceptable for this purpose.

An evidence-based approach to the assessment and management of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Starts 2 September 2019 · online · 3 weeks duration · 3 hours per week study

This course integrates the 166 recommendations from the International evidence-based guideline on the assessment and management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) 2018, using a highly engaging interactive format. The course, run over a three-week period, uses case studies, discussion forums, video expert presentations and weekly feedback forums to build the learner’s knowledge and skills in PCOS clinical care. This course covers assessment and diagnostic challenges, management, emotional well-being and long-term health risks. Hosted on an international platform, the course facilitates global health professional networking and participation in an international community of practice.
Implementation and Healthcare Improvement Masterclass
10–11 October 2019 Monash Medical Centre, Clayton

Join us for a two-day course that will ‘unpack’ how implementation science combines scientific disciplines to help explain approaches that enable people to adopt change in complex health systems. Hear from internationally renowned experts on innovative means to improve the healthcare system.
The course includes an overview of the Australian health services context, implementation science approaches, evidence synthesis, stakeholder engagement and co-design of implementation projects with service users.
