The new Australian Health Research Alliance (AHRA) Digital Health Research Hub, created to guide consumer and community involvement in health research, was launched. This new national platform was designed to make it easier for consumers and communities to actively participate in health and medical research, as well as healthcare improvement. This systems approach sought to create a step change in the way Australian researchers undertook consumer and community involvement. Funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), the Hub was developed through rigorous evidence synthesis and research, and co-produced with consumers at every stage. It offered researchers, consumers, community members, and healthcare professionals access to high-quality, practical resources and tools that supported meaningful and effective involvement. It was accompanied by a Consumer and Community Involvement Implementation Guide for Researcher Organisations and input into policy. This event featured insights from the team who led the Hub’s development and provided an overview of its key features, upcoming activities, and a new LinkedIn discussion platform designed to foster ongoing collaboration.
